Spring has sprung! Our Spring Essentials are here

Sip NZ Spring Essentials 2017

It seems like Spring had a bit of a sleep in this year but it’s finally here.

We’ve put together some Spring Essentials for you to celebrate longer days, higher temps and everything else that this special season has on offer for us.

Our 2017 Spring Essentials:

1 | The Art of Simple by Eleanor Ozich, $40

When you live a life that’s less complicated, the world seems to have a beautiful way of opening up opportunities for you to find joy and meaning even in the most ordinary of things. Over the past few years, Eleanor has found an entirely new way to live — one that’s filled with balance, happiness and simplicity.

Inside her new book “The Art of Simple” you will find recipes and ideas she has embraced in her quest to cherish life’s simple pleasures. Alongside recipes for nourishing meals, it includes tips to declutter your home, calming night-time rituals for children, and ideas for bringing order to your day.

2 | Spring Scent Candle by Mark Antonia via Taylor Boutique | $49

The combination of Wild Mint, Geranium, Peony and Lime delivers a fresh, light fragrance with a very soft sweetness and makes you think of delicate new shoots of flowers on these new, fresh, sunny, dewy mornings.

Mark Antonia’s seasonal candles are bespoke, tailored and personally tested, mixed and poured to create a scent that is individual and captures the essence of what inspires them each season.

3 | Stolen Kiss 2017 by Rockburn Wines, $29

Unleash the sweetly frivolous and fruity side of Central Otago Pinot Noir with the new vintage Stolen Kiss Rosé and celebrate the #firstkissofsummer in style.

Its candy-floss and crème-brûlée aromas sashay into a flirtatious toffee-apple and simmering strawberry palate smeared with cherry lip-gloss. Yum!

4 | Hãhã Rosé, $16

Hãhã Rosé is a delicious blend of 73% Merlot & 27% Malbec grapes from Hawke’s Bay. It’s beautifully fragrant with delicate strawberry, lifted florals and a hint of wild bramble.

Bursting with red berries, florals and a hint of spice, this is an elegant wine with a crisp, dry finish. Perfect for a picnic with friends!

5 | Spring Blooms by Blush, $40-$80

Nothing says spring more than a bunch of fresh spring flowers.

This year, Blush has tulips, fragrant freesias, ranunculus, and anemones. Make the most of them before they’re gone again for the year, with a carrier of spring blooms mixed with foliage.

6 | Mocu by Mato Ceramics via L’Affare, $35

Designed with form and function in mind, the Mocu by Mato Ceramics combine a Scandinavian aesthetic with a sturdy ceramic construction.

Perfect for bridging the time between waking up and wine o’clock in style!
